Two Pieces of Lightning Ridge Rough Weighing 34.58ct

This is a two piece parcel of Lightning Ridge rough which weighs 34.58ct. This is one larger piece of opal which has been broken in half. The base colour is very thin and is grey. The colour is green and the pattern is a small harlequin. I can see two nice free forms in these pieces, or two ovals. These pieces could be cleaned up, sliced and used for doublets, as the colour is clean enough. Another option would be to leave some of the potch on the piece and use it as a feature for a pendant stone. Some more rough from the Grawin Opal Fields near Lightning Ridge.
