This 18.54ct Black Opal Gem is rather flat The colours of this beautiful gem cover the entire spectrum. Some angles show beautiful reds and oranges while others show piercing greens and blues. One side of this stone tends to remain red while the other side shows stabbing brilliant colours of electric green, blue and red. The black potch lines that separate them have illuminated the colour segments even more. The photos do not show the true character of this black opal. This is definitely a pendant stone.
