31.31ct Black Opal CarvingItem No.CV8 This is an unusual 31.31ct Black Opal Carving. It basically has three levels. The lower level is a brilliant gem green/blue. The second level is very similar in colour and brightness except the blue/green colour is more dominant. The upper level is a combination of black potch with small flecks of bright red flashing through it as the stone is rotated. The hole through the stone been drilled out because of a sand inclusion not as a point to hang it from. A jeweller will use this hole as part of the setting.
