This 2.16ct gemstone is a bright flashy green, red and blue.This is a vibrant green, red and blue 2.16ct gemstone. These colours are electric and intermittent. As the stone is rolled the colours transform from one to another in a flash. Both ends of the stone have a deep intense red flash that takes over the whole stone at certain angles. The red tends to roll over the vibrant green as the stone is rotated. The pattern is a flash fire black opal. It tends to have slight steps across the stone where the colours border each other. The colour bar is relatively thin and is sitting on black potch. The stone has some slight dull spots that enhance the electric piercing colour flashes. This opal was mined at Mulga Rush, Lightning Ridge.
