A 2.04ct Solid Opal
with green and orange flashes.

This 2.04ct Solid Opal displays shades of red, orange, green and blue as it is rotated. The red and orange flash tends move randomly to different sections lf the stone when moved around. It does tend to favour one end of the stone more then the other. The pattern is a combination of pin fire and flash fire and greets you with a balance of green and orange flashes. The stone is rather flat and does look quite large for the weight of it. This is semi black opal and will suite a nice ring or pendant. This is another nice opal from the Mulga Rush and was mined from a depth of forty two feet under thirty feet of sandstone and steel band.
